About Us

Jennifer M. Jacobs, O.D.

Dr. Jacobs graduated from the Michigan College of Optometry in 2002 and then completed a residency program in Ocular Disease at the Veterans Affairs Northern Indiana Healthcare System in Fort Wayne, IN. She received her undergraduate degree from Augustana College in Rock Island, IL.

Dr. Jacobs grew up in rural Newark and now resides in Joliet. She is a member of the First United Methodist Church here in Morris and is a leader in junior and senior high youth group and Sunday School activities. Dr. Jacobs serves on the board of I Care International, a local organization that provides eye exams and eyeglasses to people in need in Mexico and Central America. She has participated in several eye care clinics in El Salvador, Honduras, and Guatemala. In her free time, Dr. Jacobs enjoys gardening, traveling (especially visiting National Parks), and hiking.

George A. Roebuck, O.D.

Dr. George Roebuck has practiced in Morris more than 40 years. He graduated from the Illinois college of Optometry. Dr. Roebuck is a member of the Illinois Optometric Association and the American Optometric Association.

Dr. Roebuck provides comprehensive eye exams, diagnosis, and treatments of all disorders of the eyes. He is trained to diagnose and treat a wide range of eye issues including glaucoma, macular degeneration, diabetes, and dry eyes. He provides emergency eye care for foreign body removal and eye infections. Dr. Roebuck works hard to stay current on the latest advances in eye health and vision care. He regularly attends continuing education seminars and advanced training courses.

Dr. Roebuck is an active member of Lions Club. He has helped with many of their projects, including free vision screenings for kids, and helping low-income families get needed glasses. He received the Melvin Jones Award, which is the highest award given by Lions club.

Dr. Roebuck is actively involved in his church. He plays his guitar and teaches in Sunday School. He lives in Morris with his wife, Debbie. They have 2 adult children. He is the proud Grandpa to Christopher, Eden, and Selah.
